The BTHA welcomed members and guests to the annual Toy Industry Day, held at Great Fosters, Egham. As always, the event provided a valuable opportunity for the toy industry to come together and strengthen connections across the sector.
This year’s Industry Day featured two fascinating guest speakers. Ashley Rolls of KPMG shared a compelling look at the current retail market and emerging trends, offering data-driven insights. He was followed by Alastair Campbell, former Director of Communications for the Labour Party and co-host of ‘The Rest is Politics’ podcast, who offered his perspective on the current political world, drawing from his extensive experience.
The BTHA presented the British Toy & Hobby Association Outstanding Contribution Award to Phil Ratcliffe, recognising his outstanding contribution to enhancing and developing awareness and knowledge of play for the good of children of all ages, through the development of the BTHA’s Make Time 2 Play campaign. A well-deserved recognition.
The day concluded with a chance to network and catch up with colleagues from across the industry, making for a productive and enjoyable event. The BTHA would like to thank all those who attended and contributed to the success of the day, and we look forward to welcoming you back next year.
