The objective of the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation (REACH) is to reduce risks to human health and the environment from the use of chemicals.

This document provides guidance for Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) only. Although GB REACH is similar to EU REACH there are some important differences that are highlighted throughout this document.
